Davide Rigon and Sam Bird give Ferrari GTE-Pro pole at Spa-Francorchamps


Ferrari's Davide Rigon and Sam Bird have taken the GTE-Pro pole position for tomorrow's 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

At the wheel of the AF Corse-run #71 Ferrari 488 GTE, they set the best avergae time in the qualifying session with 2:15.017.


The #66 Ford GT from Ford Chip Ganassi Racing was second quickest with drivers Stefan Mucke and Olivier Pla.

The top-three in class was completed by Andy Priaulx and Harry Tincknell driving the #67 Ford GT.

The GTE-Am pole position went to Aston Martin Racing with their #98 Aston Martin Vantage GTE. The car is shared by Paul Dalla Lana, Pedro Lamy and Mathias Lauda.

The #77 Porsche 911 RSR from Dempsey Proton Racing was second fastest ahead of the third placed #54 Ferrari 488 GTE from Spirit of Race.

Spa Qualifying Results

The 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, round two of the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship will start tomorrow at 14:30 local time.
