Richard Lietz happy with Prologue performances with new Porsche 911 RSR

Richard Lietz took part in the Prologue at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, the two-day official pre-season test in FIA World Endurance Championship.

The Austrian GT ace, along with Frederic Makowiecki, was at the wheel of the #91 Porsche 911 RSR from Porsche GT Team and was among the fastest all-weekend long.

The 2015 GTE-Pro champion was happy with performances in the Prologue with the new GTE challenger from Stuttgart.

"This was a very important test for us. Every team was in racing mode. We tried several different setups for Silverstone and these worked well. Monza was also an ideal opportunity to integrate the many new team members into the squad," said Richard Lietz.

Richard Lietz, who had a frustrating 2016 season with the last-gen Porsche 911 RSR is now looking forward to the season opener, the 6 Hours of Silverstone "Now we look forward to our return as a works team to the WEC and we can hardly wait until the season finally begins at Silverstone"
