Porsche GT Team has topped the GTE-Pro field in the second FIA WEC practice at Silverstone.
Works drivers Michael Christensen and Kevin Estre, who share the #92 Porsche 911 RSR, set the best time of the session 1:57.765.
Aston Martin Racing's Darren Turner, Jonny Adam and Daniel Serra were second fastest with the #97 Vantage GTE.
The top-three was completed by another Aston Martin, the #95 Vantage GTE in the hands of Marco Sørensen, Nicki Thiim and Richie Stanaway.
The two Ford Chip Ganassi Racing-run Ford GTs were fourth (#67) and fifth (#66). The #51 Ferrari 488 GTE from AF Corse was sixth. Porsche GT Team's #91 Porsche 911 RSR was seventh. The #71 Ferrari 488 GTE was eighth.
Porsche was the quickest in the GTE-Am class as well with the #86 Porsche 911 RSR driven by Michael Wainwright, Ben Barker and Nick Foster, their best time was 1:59.991.
The #54 Ferrari 488 GTE from Spirit of Race was second ahead of the third placed #77 Porsche 911 RSR from Dempsey Proton Racing.
Action will resume on Saturday at Silverstone with a third practice followed later by the qualifying session.
