Corvette Racing wins GTLM in chaotic Grand Prix of Long Beach race

Corvette Racing has won the GT Le Mans (GTLM) class in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Grand Prix of Long Beach. It was a very chaotic race with multiple contacts and crashes in the 100-minute sprint event.

The winning #4 Corvette C7.R was shared by Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner, who started from position six on the grid.

Tommy Milner took the lead in the very last corner when an incident blocked the class leading - at that moment - #3 Corvette C7.R of Antonio Garcia and Jan Magunssen, who finished the race in fourth place.

Ford Chip Ganassi Racing's Richard Westbrook and Ryan Briscoe were second in GTLM with the #67 Ford GT.

Porsche GT Team completed the GTLM podium with the #912 Porsche 911 RSR of Laurens Vanthoor and Kevin Estre.
