Beechdean AMR leads GTE in ELMS FP2 at Silverstone

As was the case in the opening European Le Mans Series practice at Silverstone yesterday, an Aston Martin was the quickest in the GTE-Am in the second ninety-minute session.

Darren Turner, Ross Gunn and Andrew Howard set the best time in class, 2:00.517 at the wheel of the Beechdean AMR-run #99 Vantage GTE.

Spirit of Race's Matt Griffin, Duncan Cameron and Aaron Scott were second fastest driving the #55 Ferrari 488 GTE, their best time was 2:00.547.

The single Porsche in the field from Proton Competition completed the top-three with drivers Matteo Cairoli, Joel Camathias and Christian Ried.

The Spirit of Race #51 Ferrari 488 GTE was fourth. The JMW Motorsport #66 Ferrari 458 Italia was fifth. The TF Sport #90 Aston Martin Vantage GTE was sixth.

The GTE qualifying session, a ten-minute one, will start at 14:05 local time.
