Ford Chip Ganassi Racing dominates GTLM qualifying at Sebring


Ford Chip Ganassi Racing has dominated the GTLM qualifying session for Saturday's 12 Hours of Sebring, round two of the 2017 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

At the wheel of the #67 Ford GT, Ryan Briscoe set the quickest time in the session with1:55.939.

His team-mate Dirk Mueller was second fastest with the sister #66 Ford GT, his best time was 1:56.175.

Corvette Racing's Tommy Milner completed the top-three in class with the #4 Corvette C7.R.

Porsche GT Team's Kevin Estre was fourth fastest with the #912 Porsche 911 RSR ahead of Antonio Garcian who was fifth with the #3 Corvette C7.R.

Stefan Mucke was sixth with the #68 Ford GT, while Dirk Werner was seventh with the #911 Porsche 911 RSR.

BMW Team RLL faced a frustrating session, Nicky Catsburg was eighth with the #24 M6 GTLM and Alexander Sims was ninth with the sister #25 BMW.

Risi Competizione end up in tenth place in GTLM was the #62 Ferrari 488 GTE driven by Giancarlo Fisichella.
