Corvette Racing topped GTLM in IMSA test at Sebring

Corvette Racing topped the GT Le Mans timesheets in the two-day official IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at Sebring.

Jan Magnussen set the best time in class on Friday, 1:58.525, at the wheel of the #3 Corvette C7.R. He was sharing the car with co-drivers Antonio Garcia and Mike Rockenfeller.

Porsche GT Team's Laurens Vanthoor Patrick Pilet and Dirk Werner were second fastest sharing the #912 Porsche 911 RSR.

The two works Ford GTs from Ford Chip Ganassi Racing were third with the #67 car of Richard Westbrook, Ryan Briscoe and Scott Dixon and fourth with the sister #66 machine of Dirk Mueller, Joey Hand and Sébastien Bourdais.

The #25 BMW M6 GTLM from BMW Team RLL was fifth with Bill Auberlen, Alexander Sims and Kuno Wittmer.

Ferrari's James Calado and Toni Vilander, who were joined by IndyCar ace Juan Pablo Montoya, were sixth with the Risi Competizione-run #62 Ferrari 488 GTE.

BMW's John Edwards, Nick Catsburg and Martin Tomczyk were seventh driving the #25 BMW M6 GTLM.

Last year's 12 Hours of Sebring winners Oliver Gavin, Tommy Milner and Marcel Fassler were eighth fastest with the #4 Corvette C7.R.
