Jonathan Adam rejoins Aston Martin Racing for Bahrain finale

Aston Martin works driver Jonathan Adam will be back with the factory team in this weekend's 6 Hours of Bahrain.

The 2016 British GT champion will replace Richie Stanaway at the wheel of the #97 Aston Martin Vantage GTE in the final event of the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship.

The Scot will be sharing the car with the newly crowned European Le Mans Series GTE champion Darren Turner.

Jonathan Adam's last appearance in the premier sportscar series was at Le Mans 24 Hours. He ended up in sixth place in GTE-Pro with team-mates Fernando Rees and Richie Stanaway.
