Gianmaria Bruni and James Calado lead GTE-Pro in Bahrain third practice

AF Corse' Gianmari Bruni and James Calado were the fastest in the GTE-Pro class in the very close third practice session at the Bahrain International Circuit.

At the wheel of the #51 Ferrari 488 GTE, Gianmari Bruni set the quickest time in class in the sixty-minute session with 1:59.038.

Aston Martin Racing's Darren Turner and Jonathan Adam were second sharing the #97 Aston Martin Vantage GTE.

Ford Chip Ganassi Team UK's Stefan Mücke and Olivier Pla completed the top-three in GTE-Pro driving the #66 Ford GT.

Series points leaders Nick Thiim and Marco Sørensen were fourth with the Young Driver AMR run #95 Aston Martin Vantage GTE.

GTE-Am was a Ferrari affair as well. François Perrodo, Emmanuel Collard and Rui Aguas were the quickest with the #83 Ferrari 458 Italia from AF Corse, they set the best time of 2:00.701.

The Gulf Racing #86 Porsche 911 RSR was second fastest ahead of the third placed #98 Aston Martin Vantage GTE.

The GTE qualifying session will start at 17:00 local time.
