The GTE-Am grid for next year's FIA World Endurance Championship starts to take shape. Proton Competition is expected to continue in the class with the Porsche 911 RSR, now another brand is set to return in the Amateur class.
Paul Dalla Lana the driver and owner of the #98 Aston Martin Vantage GTE told Sportscar365 at Fuji that he will most likely return in 2017 again with Aston Martin Racing.
The Canadian confirmed that the plans are to upgrade the GTE-Am Aston Martin to a 2016 spec Vantage GTE, the car which is leading all three GTE-Pro standings (drivers, teams and manufacturers) ahead of the 6 Hours of Fuji.
