The 2017 European Le Mans Series calendar is out

The 2017 calendar of the European Le Mans Series has been released, a six-round one. There are two major changes compared to this year's calendar, as the series will return to both Monza and Portimao.

Monza will play host to the official test days right after the FIA WEC's Prologue.

The opening round will be held at Silverstone supporting the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The ELMS will then return to Monza for the second round of the season. The "Temple of Speed" replaces Imola as home of the Italian round and it will be the last event before the Le Mans 24 Hours.

The Red Bull Ring in Austria will be round three followed by the Paul Ricard in France and Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.

The season finale will be held once in again in Portugal but on a different location. The Portimao circuit will replace Estoril.
