Richard Westbrook gives Ford GTLM pole position at Lime Rock Park


Richard Westbrook has taken GT Le Mans (GTLM) pole position for tomorrow Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock. At the wheel of the #67 Ford GT, he set the quickest time in class with 50.748. The session was red flagged just few minutes before the end.

As always in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the GTLM qualifying session was an unbelievably close one.

Dirk Werner was second quickest with the #25 BMW M6 GTLM from BMW Team RLL with a best time of 50.834.


Tommy Milner Completed the top-three in GTLM driving the #4 Corvette C7.R from Corvette Racing.

Toni Vilander was fourth at the wheel of the Risi Competizione #62 Ferrari 488 GTE. Joey Hand was fifth with the #66 Ford GT. Corvette's Jan Magnussen was sixth with the #3 C7.R. Patrick Pilet was seventh with the #911 Porsche 911 RSR. John Edwards was eighth with the #100 BMW M6 GTLM. Frédéric Makowiecki was ninth with the #912 Porsche 911 RSR.
