The Nürburgring circuit played host to a wet third and final practice session this morning. The start of the session has been delayed following a heavy fog.
Fastest in GTE-Pro were Gianmaria Bruni and James Calado at the wheel of the #51 Ferrari 488 GTE. The AF Corse drivers set the best time in the 60-minute session, 1:57.294
Their team-mates Davide Rigon and Sam Bird were second fastest with the sister #71 Ferrari 488 GTE, their best time was 1:57.365.
Aston Martin Racing #97 Vantage GTE was fourth. Dempesey Proton Racing #77 Porsche 911 RSR was fifth. Aston Martin Racing #95 vantage GTE was sixth. Ford Chip Ganassi Team UK #66 Ford GT was seventh.
Abu-Dhabi Proton Racing was the fastest in GTE-Am with the #88 Porsche 911 RSR shared by Khaled Al Qubaisi, David Heinemeier Hansson and Patrick Long.
The #83 Ferrari 458 Italia from AF Corse was second fastest in class. The KCMG #78 Porsche 911 RSR was third.
The GTE qualifying session will start at 14:15 CET.
