After two rounds, Ferrari is the only manufacturer without a victory in this year's European Le Mans Series. Aston Martin with Beechdean AMR has won the opening round at Silverstone (following the exclusion of the race-winning Ferrari) and Porsche has taken the class victory at Imola with Proton Competition. The target at the Red Bull Ring will be a first GTE win this season in the ELMS.
Leading the Ferrari squad will be the JMW Motorsport team. The British squad will enter the #66 Ferrari 458 Italia with drivers Robert Smith, Rory Butcher and Andrea Bertolini. They have won the Silverstone round before being excluded later on and they have clinched a strong second at Imola.
AF Corse will compete with two cars. The #51 458 Italia will be shared by Piergiuseppe Perazzini, Marco Cioci and Rui Aguas. Their team-mates Duncan Cameron, Matt Griffin and Aaron Scott will drive the sister #55 Ferrari.
AF Corse will give support to two other Ferraris from AT Racing and Formula Racing. The AT Racing #56 Ferrari will feature Alexander Talkanitsa, Alexander Talkanitsa Jr and Alessandro Pier Guidi, it's a home race for the Austrian team. The Danish Formula Racing #60 Ferrari will be driven by Johnny Laursen, Mikkel Mac and Christina Nielsen.
