Corvette Racing leads GTLM in CTMP third practice


Corvette's Jan Magnussen and Antonio Garcia were the fastest in the third and final IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship practice session at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

At the wheel of the factory #4 Corvette C7.R, they set the quickest time in GT Le Mans class with a 1:15.223 and covered a total of 31 laps in the sunny 1-hour session.

Bill Auberlen and Dirk Werner who topped the GTLM timesheet in yesterday's second practice were second fastest with the BMW Team RLL run #25 M6 GTLM with a best time of 1:15.499.

Another BMW completed the top-three in GTLM class with Lucas Luhr and John Edwards driving the #100 M6 GTLM.

Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner were fourth fastest with the Corvette Racing #4 C7.R. Ryan Briscoe and Joey Hand were sixth with the #67 Ford GT from Ford Chip Ganassi Racing.

Ford Chip Ganassi Racing #66 Ford GT was sixth. Risi Competizione #62 Ferrari 488 GTE was seventh. The two Porsche North America cars were eighth with the #912 RSR and ninth with the #911 machine.
