Dirk Muller, Sébastien Bourdais and Joey Hand who will start the 24-hour race from pole position were the quickest in the 45-minute session with a best time of 3:57.397 .
Second fastest was the Aston Martin Racing #97 Vantage GTE driven by Richie Stanaway, Fernando Rees and Johnny Adam.
The top-three was completed by the #77 Porsche 911 RSR from Dempsey Proton Racing in the hands of Richard Lietz, Michael Christensen and Philip Engg.
In GTE-Am, the quickest car was the #88 Porsche 911 RSR from Abu-Dhabi Proton Racing with Patrick Long, Khaled Al Qubaisi and David Heinemeier Hansson, they set a best time of 4:00.162.
The KCMG #88 Porsche 911 RSR was second fastest in class ahead of the Aston Martin Racing #98 Aston Martin Vantage GTE in third.
The 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours will start at 15:00 local time.
