Abu Dhabi-Proton Racing is looking forward to Round 2 of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, in Belgium on May 7, with the goal of finishing with the top best.

The Abu Dhabi-Proton Racing team will be behind the wheel of a Porsche 911 RSR and will also comprise of Emirati Khaled Al Qubaisi, Heinemeier Hansson of Denmark and Patrick Long of the USA.

The Spa circuit is obviously something that all drivers love because of the fantastic scenery and the massive challenges it poses, specially the Eau Rouge turn.

Team leader Khaled Al Qubaisi said:

Spa is one of the most amazing of races which has an amazing circuit, beautiful surroundings. It will be great to get back there, but as usual it will be tough as well. We will do our best to secure top positions; hopefully be on the podium in class.

The most important thing for us would be to stay safe and ensure that we do not get into any unfortunate incidents that could jeopardize our chances of being in the front, and of course, no bad luck!
