Philipp Eng joins Dempsey Proton Racing for Le Mans 24 Hours

Dempsey Proton Racing will have a strong line-up in next month's Le Mans 24 Hours. Team's regulars and Porsche factory drivers Richard Lietz and Micheal Christensen will be joined by Philipp Eng from Austria.

A true Porsche specialist, Philipp Eng had a very strong 2015 season with the German brand. He clinched the prestigious Porsche Supercup and also won the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland title with Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. Philipp Eng is competing for BMW this year in the demanding Blancpain GT Series.

Philipp Eng has driven the Porsche 911 RSR as well at the end of 2015. He took part in the FIA WEC Rookie Test at Bahrain driving one the factory Porsche 911 RSRs from Team Manthey.

The semi-works Dempsey Proton Racing will be joined at La Sarthe by the full factory Porsche Motorsport squad in the ultra competitive GTE-Pro class.
