Ford Chip Ganassi Racing tests Ford GT at Watkins Glen

Ford Chip Ganassi Racing is at Watkins Glen testing the Ford GT for a two-day test. The US based team is preparing for the upcoming 24 Hours of Le Mans at the near New York track.

The Ford IMSA team has clinched a maiden GT Le Mans class victory at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with the #67 Ford GT driven by Richard Westbrook and Ryan Briscoe

The sister Ford WEC squad took a strong second place in GT-Pro at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps with the #67 Ford GT in the hands of Andy Priaulx, Marino Franchitti and Harry Tinkle.

Ford will be back at Watkins Glen right after Le Mans. The circuit will play host to the 6 Hours of the Glen, round five of the IMSA series and round three of the special North American Endurance Cup (NAEC)
