A sunny Spa-Francorchamps circuit played host to a third and final FIA WEC practice session. The GTE-Pro class was dominated by Ferrari and AF Corse.
Ferrari factory drivers Gianmaria Bruni and James Calado were the fastest. At the wheel of the #51 Ferrari 488 GTE they set the quickest time in class with 2:17.874. Their team-mates Davide Rigon and Sam Bird were second fastest with the sister #71 Ferrari 488 GTE.
The top-three in GTE-Pro was completed by Aston Martin Racing with drivers Marco Sørensen, Nicki Thiim and Darren Turner at the wheel of the #95 Aston Martin Vantage GTE.
The #97 Aston Martin Vantage GTE was fourth. Ford Chip Ganassi Team UK ended in positions five (#67 Ford GT) and seven (#66 Ford GT). The Demspey Proton Racing #77 Porsche 911 RSR was sixth in class
In GTE-Am, Paul Dalla Lana, Mathias Lauda and Pedro Lamy were the fastest with the Aston Martin Racing #98 Vantage GTE.
Second place went to the Larbre Competition #50 Corvette C7.R ahead of the KCMG #78 Porsche 911 RSR in third.
The GTE qualifying session will start 16:05 CET.
