Three strong Asian GTE-Am entries at Le Mans 24 Hours

The Asian continent will be very well represented in this year's Le Mans 24 Hours. No less than three GT teams will be competing in the French endurance classic within the demanding GTE-Am class.

KCMG the only Asian full season competitor in FIA World Endurance Championship will enter a Porsche 911 RSR. The Proton Competition supported #78 Porsche will be driven by team's regulars Christian Ried, Wolf Henzler and Joël Camathias.

The two other Asian entries are coming from the growing Asian Le Mans Series.

2015/2016 Asian LMS GT champions from Clearwater Racing will enter a Ferrari 458 Italia with a technical support from AF Corse. The team from Singapore is one of the most successful and experienced teams in Asian sportscar racing with multiple titles in the GT Asia Series and Asian Le Mans Series. Their #61 Ferrari 458 Italia will be driven by Weng Sun Mok, Keita Sawa and McLaren works drivers Rob Bell.

The second Asian LMS GT entry is from Team AAI. The Taiwan based squad will be competing with a Corvette C7.R at Le Mans. The effort will have the support of GT specialists from ProSpeed Competition and will feature a very strong line-up. The #57 Corvette will be shared by Mark Patterson, Oliver Bryant and GM factory driver Johnny O'Connell a multiple class winner at Le Mans.
