A Corvette C7.R for Team AAI at Le Mans 24 Hours

Team AAI will be running a Corvette C7.R in this year's Le Mans 24 Hours.

The Asian squad will have the support of Belgian team ProSpeed Competition in the French classic. Rudi Penders, ProSpeed team owner has confirmed to Endurance-Info that they will switch from the Corvette C6.R to the Corvette C7.R in the twice around the clock endurance race.

The Corvette C7.R is the winning car in last year's Le Mans 24 Hours with the factory Corvette Racing team.

According to Rudi Penders the C7.R is on its way to Belgium. Some members of the team were in Detroit at Corvette Racing learning more about the car.

ProSpeed Competition is aiming to continue with the car after Le Mans by competing in selected European races.
