Olivier Pla: "I want to be fighting at the front at Silverstone"

Olivier Pla is one of the six Ford drivers in this year's FIA World Endurance Championship. The French ace will be sharing the factory #66 Ford GT with Stefan Mücke and Billy Johnson starting at this weekend's 6 Hours of Silverstone.

The Ford Chip Ganassi Racing driver is very experienced in sportscar racing, mainly with Prototypes. This is the forst time for him as a full season competitor with a GT car.

Olivier Pla is looking forward to the season opener in the UK and is eager to fight for the top spots in the very demanding GTE-Pro class.

Olivier Pla:

I want to be fighting at the front at Silverstone, This is a new programme with a new car and a new team and we are working hard to be competitive and reliable so that we can take the maximum points possible.

Silverstone is one of my top three circuits, alongside Sebring and Macau. We haven’t tested there yet so we need to find the right balance but we’re working together very easily.

We all have the same driving style, give the same feedback and we know where we want to go. We all want to win and if we have the chance we will take it.
