Ford topped GTE-Pro in Paul Ricard final test session
Ford Chip Ganassi Team UK concluded FIA World Endurance Championship's Prologue by leading GTE-Pro in the fifth and final test session at the Paul Ricard circuit.
Harry Tincknell, Marino Franchitti and Andy Priaulx were the quickest in class driving the factory #67 Ford GT. the all-British driven Ford set a best time of 1:58.786.
Davide Rigon and Sam Bird were second fastest driving the #71 Ferrari 488 GTE from AF Corse. Olivier Pla, Stefan Mücke and Billy Johnson were third with the #66 Ford GT from Ford Chip Ganassi Team UK.
Gulf Racing UK was the fastest again in the GTE-Am class. The #86 Porsche 911 RSR set a best time of 1:59.248 with drivers Adam Carroll, Ben Barker and Michael Wainwright.
The AF Corse run #83 Ferrari 458 Italia was second fastest. The KCMG #78 Porsche 911 RSR completed the top-three in GTE-Am class.
Paul Ricard Fifth Session Results
The next stop for FIA World Endurance Championhsip competitors will be at Silverstone, the home of British Motorsport will play host to the opening round of the 2016 season.
