Ferrari dominated the official European Le Mans Series two-day tests at the Paul Ricard circuit. The cars from Maranello were the fastest in all of the five sessions.
The two Ferraris from AF Corse set the two fastest times within the GTE class. It was Marco Cioci who set the fastest time overall in GTE with 1:57.252 behind the wheel of the #51 Ferrari 458 Italia. The Italian driver shared the car with Rui Aguas and Piergiuseppe Perazzini.
Everything is going in the right way after two full days of testing. We have tried a lot of stuff and everything is working. We know it will be a tough season with many cars and great crews, it will be a great battle as usual in ELMS.
The sister #55 Ferrari 458 Italia was right behind with a time of 1:57.592. The top-three in GTE was completed by the JMW Motorsport #66 Ferrari 458 Italia. The British entry set a best time of 1:57.622.
AT Racing (#56 Ferrari 458 Italia) was fourth, Proton Competition (#77 Porsche 911 RSR) was fifth, Formula Racing (#60 Ferrari 458 Italia) was sixth and Aston Martin Racing (#99 Aston Martin Vantage GTE) was seventh in GTE class.

The opening round of the 2016 European Le Mans Series will be held in Silverstone, April 16th. The ELMS will share the weekend with the FIA World Endurance Championship.
