Aston Martin Racing switches to Dunlop

Aston Martin Racing will start a new era in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Following years working with Michelin, the British brand will change the tire supplier for the 2016 competition.

The factory Aston Martin Vantage GTE cars will use Dunlop rubbers this year in FIA WEC. Dunlop is very experienced in GT racing and is the exclusive tire supplier of the GTE class in the European Le Mans Series.

Aston Martin will field a pair of updated Aston Martin Vantage GTEs in the upper GTE-Pro class. A single car will be entered in GTE-Am.

All three works Astons in FIA WEC will be joined by two additional Vantages at Le Mans 24 Hours. The first car is from Beechdean AMR under Aston Martin Racing banner, the second one is from French team TDS Racing. Both teams will be competing in the European Le Mans Series in 2016.
