Aston Martin Racing will unveil the 2016 FIA WEC driver line-up next week

Aston Martin Racing will unveil their 2016 sporting program and the driver line-up for the FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series next week.

The British brand will compete once again in the series two Grand Touring classes, GTE-Pro and GTE-Am with a total of three cars. Aston Martin Racing will field a fourth Vantage GTE at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Two full factory new Aston Martin Vantage GTEs will be entered in the upper GTE-Pro class. At last week's ACO announcement two drivers have been mentioned. Nicki Thiim with the #95 Vantage GTE, the car run by Young Driver AMR. Richie Stanaway has been announced for the sister #97 Aston Martin.

The third works Aston Martin will be compete in GTE-Am class. The driver line-up of the #98 Aston Martin Vantage GTE is already known, the car will be in the hands of Paul Dalla Lana, Pedro Lamy and Mathias Lauda.

Aston Martin Racing will be also represented in the 2016 European Le Mans Series with two cars. A Vantage GTE will be fielded by 2015 British GT champions from Beechdean AMR under Aston Martin Racing banner. The second Aston Martin entry is a privateer one coming from TDS Racing.
