Dalla Lana, Lamy and Lauda back to FIA WEC with Aston Martin Racing

Aston Martin Racing will have at least one Vantage GTE in the GTE-Am class next year. Canadian Paul Dalla Lana has confirmed to Sportscar365 that he will be back to FIA World Endurance Championship in 2016.

His team-mates will be once again Pedro Lamy from Portugal and Mathias Lauda from Austria. The three drivers clinched three GTE-Am class victories this season in FIA WEC and four pole positions with their #98 Aston Martin Vantage GTE.

Paul Dalla Lana, Pedro Lamy and Mathias Lauda ended the season in third place in the GTE-Am drivers' standing with a total of 144 points each. They were the best of the rest behind two Ferrari squads, from SMP Racing and AF Corse.

Aston Martin Racing is expected to field two brand new spec Aston Martin Vantages in the upper GTE-Pro class. Darren Turner is the only confirmed driver so far.
