A great news coming from the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The GT Le Mans class will be boosted by a new Ferrari effort in 2016.

Scuderia Corsa, a regular Ferrari team in North American sportscar racing will field a brand new Ferrari 488 in the GTLM class next year. The car will feature a strong three-driver line-up with Alessandro Pier Guidi, Alexandre Premat and Daniel Serra.

Alessandro Pier Guidi is one of the fastest Ferrari GT driver around. Alexandre Premat has a massive experience in sportscar and touring car racing with Audi and in the V8 Supercars.

Scuderia Corsa will compete in all four races of the special North American Endurance Cup (NAEC). The privateer Ferrari team will enter the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring, the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen and Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.
