Ford will unveil the 2016 FIA WEC driver line-up on January 5th


Ford will unveil their driver line-ups for the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship next week - Tuesday, January 5th - in the UK.

The American brand will enter the FIA WEC with a pair of factory backed Ford GT cars in the demanding GTE-Pro class challenging prestigious brands like Aston Martin, Ferrari and Porsche.

The two cars will be fielded by Ford Performance Chip Ganassi Racing. The very same team behind Ford's effort in the North American based IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

In recent days there were a lot of speculations about the possible Ford drivers in next year's FIA WEC competition. Big names like Olivier Pla, Andy Priaulx and Stefan Muecke were all mentioned. We have to wait until Tuesday to have an official confirmation.
