TDS Racing up to GTE in ELMS and Le Mans 24 Hours

TDS Racing had a very successful 2015 season in the European Le Mans Series. The French squad won the GTC class championship title with a BMW Z4 GT3 and performed very well in the LMP2 class with thier Oreca 05 Nissan.

For the 2016 season, TDS Racing is aiming to move up to the LM GTE class in the European Le Mans Series as well returning to the LMP2 class. The team is also targeting an effort in the newly formed Michelin Le Mans GT3 Cup with a BMW M6 GT3.

TDS Racing co-owner Xavier Combet had a chat with Endurance-Info and talked about the team's plans for next year's competition.

We will focus on the LM GTE class now in the European Le Mans Series and the Le Mans 24 Hours. Our driver lineup is not finalized yet as we are looking for a fast Silver rated driver. Our target is to have three good drivers and a homogeneous crew.

For the car, we did not take a decision yet, but we are talking with both Ferrari and Aston Martin. The good thing, all the different manufacturers are very open when discussing with us. The final decision will be taken in the few next days.

We have plans to do Le Mans in the GTE class for at least two years. We also want to work with a manufacturer and be involved in the class for the long-term.
