The 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship season will conclude this umpcoming weekend in Bahrain. A heavy battle is expected in the GTE field for the manufacturers' and drivers' titles between Porsche and Ferrari.
Porsche factory driver Richard Lietz who is leading the demanding GTE-Pro class is looking forward to hard and competitive 6-hour race in Bahrain. The Austrian will share the #91 Porsche 911 RSR with Michael Christensen and wants to clinch the 2015 crown and help the German brand take the manifacturers' one against Ferrari. Richard Lietz has a total of 135 points, 20 more than Ferrari's Davide Rigon and James Calado.
This racetrack is really tough on the tyres. For this reason we need to find a setup for our 911 RSR so that we can drive a good hour on one set of tyres.
I am trying my best to tune out the thought of a possible title win. We must drive a flawless race, we need a perfect strategy and definitely a little luck. Then we have good chances in our bid for the titles.
