Ford will unveil their driver line-ups for the 2016 IMSA SportsCar Championship on Saturday in Miami.
The American brand will enter the premier North American sportscar series with a pair of factory Ford GT cars in the demanding GTLM class. The two cars will be entered by Chip Ganassi Racing one of the strongest IMSA teams in the prototype field.
A press conference will be held at Homestead-Miami Speedway - home of the final race of the NASCAR season - in which various Ford managers will be present along with Chip Ganassi Racing team owner.
In recent days there were a lot of speculations about the possible Ford drivers in next year's competition. Big names like Joey Hand, Richard Westbrook, Ryan Briscoe, Billy Johnson, Dirk Mueller, Olivier Pla, Marino Franchitti and Sebastien Bourdais were all mentioned. We have to wait until Saturday to have an official confirmation.
The drivers for the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship will be announced later.
