Formula Racing Ferrari wins LM GTE at 4 Hours of Paul Ricard

The Paul Ricard circuit in France hosted an action packed fourth round of the European Le Mans Series. Fans enjoyed great battles in all of the four classes including in LM GTE.

At the end of a hard and fought 4 Hours of Paul Ricard, it was the Formula Racing Ferrari team who clinched LM GTE class victory. The winning Danish #60 Ferrari 458 Italia was driven by Johnny Laursen, Mikkel Mac and Andrea Rizzoli. A great result for the AF Corse supported squad.

BMW Team Marc VDS had a heroic race with their #52 BMW Z4 GTE. The Belgian team started from last place in LM GTE class and was able tou bounce back and end the 4-hour event in a very strong second place.

The podium was completed by the #66 Ferrari 458 Italia from JMW Motorsport.

Fourth and fifth places went to the two Porsche teams in the field. Proton Competition's #88 Porsche 911 RSR was fourth ahead of the Gulf Racing UK's #86 Porsche 911 RSR.

Unlucly race for the other Ferrari teams. The #55 Ferrari 458 Italia from AF Corse was sixth. The #56 Ferrari 458 Italia from AT Racing - the car which started from LM GTE pole position - was seventh. The #51 Ferrari 458 Italia from AF Corse was eighth in class.
