USCC - Aston Martin Racing to skip upcoming NAEC races

Aston Martin Racing will not take part to additional races in America's United SportsCar Championship (USCC).

The British team with Paul Dalla Lana had plans to compete in the North American Endurance Cup (NAEC). A 4-event special series with the four most prestigious USCC races: Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen and Petit Le Mans.

Aston Martin Racing's John Gaw spoke to Sportscar365 about any possible effort in the remaining two NAEC events, Watkins Glen and Petit Le Mans. The AMR boss said that it will be hard to see the Vantage GTE more in North America this year. Paul Dalla Lana is fully focused on FIA World Endurance Championship as the Canadian driver is battling for GTE-Am world title.

John Gaw added that Aston Martin Racing is still looking at the United SportsCar Championship for the near future. It all depends on having the right partners and sponsors for that target.
