Ferrari at Imola with five 458 Italia GTE cars

The European Le Mans Series championship arrives in Italy for the second race of the season at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola.

The GTE class race at Silverstone was nothing short of incredible, with a number of Ferraris dominating before being penalised for various reasons, including bad luck, accidents and driving errors.

The JMW Motorsport team will try to improve on its second place at Silverstone with another great performance from the British trio of George Richardson, Robert Smith and Samuel Tordoff. However, we can also expect better than its third place at Silverstone from the 458 Italia no. 55 of AF Corse, driven by Duncan Cameron, Aaron Scott and Matt Griffin.

Three other Ferraris will be racing in this class: the 51 of AF Corse, driven by Peter Mann, Raffaele Giammaria and Matteo Cressoni; the 56 of AT Racing with Belarus's Alexander Talkanitsa senior and junior and Italy's Alessandro Pier Guidi, and the Formula Racing team car, just included in the potential reserves for the Le Mans 24 Hours, with Denmark's Johnny Laursen and Mikkel Mac and Italy's Andrea Rizzoli.

The car to beat is the Gulf Racing team Porsche, winner of the first race with Wainwright-Carroll-Keen.
