AT Racing Ferrari wins GTE at 4 hours of Imola


The AT Racing Ferrari team has won a thrilling European Le Mans Series round two at Imola. The GTE class had an amazing 4 Hours of Imola race at the Italian track.

The Austrian team won race with drivers Alexander Talkanitsa, Alexander Talka Jr and Alessandro Pier Guidi sharing the #56 Ferrari 458 Italia. In the closing stages they had a great battle for class win with the Proton Competition Porsche and the Formula Racing Ferrari.

Proton Competition took the second place in GTE class with #88 Porsche RSR driven by Richard Lietz, Marco Mapelli and Christian Ried. Team Formula Racing was third with #60 Ferrari 458 Italia and drivers Johnny Laursen, Mikkel Mac and Andrea Rizzoli.


The BMW Z4 GTE missed the podium taking fourth place. The BMW Team Marc VDS entry was driven by Andy Priaulx, Jesse Krhon and Henry Hassid.

AF Corse #55 Ferrari 458 Italia was fifth, JMW Motorsport #66 Ferrari 458 Italia was sixth, AF Corse #51 Ferrari 458 Italia was seventh and Gulf Racing UK #86 Porsche RSR was eighth.

The European Le Mans Series will have a break. Some ELMS teams and drivers will be heading to France next June for the famous Le Mans 24 Hours.
